Sajni's Fourth Month

Wow, time goes by so quickly. So quickly that its 10 days since Sajni completed her fourth month and I havent got a chance to update my blog. Oh My Sajni does a lot more than she did a month ago. I hope I remember everything that she is upto these days. The best and wonderful of all is how she has mastered the rolling over act. Yes she can turn over just like that. You lay her down on the floor and you look away and within a few seconds, just before you even realise she is on her tummy. Its so delightful to watch her like that with all that naughtiness in her eyes. She still continues to enjoy her time with her thatha. Oh She loves that and when he sings her song "Chellamma Kuttilu" she screams with joy and happiness. And not to mention, how she gets things done her way with ammamma. She hates it when ammamma watches TV. She feels she is being ignored and expresses that so beautifully. And yes she continues to play Saindhadhu Amma Saindhadhu only with ammamma but nobody else

Sajni has started to enjoy the little drives that we have been taking her to. Her visits to the DC and Baltimore. She also did the Annapolis boat ride and enjoyed every moment of it. Also the little walks that I take her to around the apartment community. During these visits we figured her love for trees. She loves to watch trees, plants... Boy, she is a nature enthusiast and I love it.

The last day of this month is when she learnt a new thing. Apart from responding to amma, appa, thatha and ammamma, she now does something like the Alabhana. Its so cute and you can listen to her all day !! I think thats unique to Sajni and her love for music especially carnatic continues

We have started to have guests at home. Guess we are no longer the parents of a "newborn" :) Sajni seems to love company and she jumps with joy when she sees kids. Somehow she relates to them better and squeaks with joy when she is near them. With our recent Kolu visits, this is what we found out. Coming to that, Sajni celebrated her first Kolu. She liked watching all the bomais and the park. The best of all was playing with the kids who visited us for the kolu. Sajni also attended Srini's office get-together. There were other kids and she happily stayed with the women folk there while I got some great moments to relax. At this point she defintely seems to be a social baby :)

I am already missing her first 3 months. the little things she did to get to this stage. I am waiting for more of Sajni...

This is how she looks when she completed her fourth month
