Sajni is 3 months old. Infact 3 months and a week old. Oh My God !!! Its so beautiful.... I mean being a mom of Sajni .. it is so wonderful. I am making this statement at 3 months, guess what will I feel later on, especially the stages when she crawls, walks, talks.... She is such a delight to watch. She is keeping the whole family at her toes. She likes to be pampered and screams when she is left alone even for a minute. When she wakes up after a nap, she has to see one of our faces, either her thata, ammama or her mom. And then she likes to be konjified and then there appears one of the beautiful smiles. The best smile I would say in the whole world. She is such a cutie pie. Her 2 month to 3 month has passed by so quickly meaning she is keeping us really busy. She has started to babble a few words and some of them even sound like amma ... No No its not me, I am not exaggerating. people around me say so... She moves from one end to another in her bed. Is able to move her hands and legs well. Infact she has better control of her hands and her neck. Her neck is almost standing well without any support. She tries to do the ammama kozhakattai brings both her hands to her mouth but then puts her hands in to her mouth. Also she is spitting a lot. My friends say she could be teething... I wonder if she could this early..
Sajni and I are trying to get a routine. We read a book when she wakes up in the morning. The best thing still continues, her sleeping well in the nights. Some days she sleeps well for 4 hours and the healthy mommmy I have become.. We try to play during the day. She playes the Saidhadhu amma Saidhadhu only with her ammama. How hard I try to play that game with her, she somehow isnt interested and she plays it beautifully with her ammama. Her 3rd month has been wonderful and I am so excited and waiting to see Sajni growing...
Here is how she looks when completed 3 months..

Namakarnam
We celebrated Sajni's Namakarnam today Sep 2nd 2009 and yippe Sajni's name was written on rice paddy. Her name is official in the traditional world.. She enjoyed every bit of the proceedings and turned cranky only towards the end that too due to hunger. She keenly listened to the vathiyar chanting the mantrams. Ofcourse, she is familiar with the sound of mantrams as she listens to her tatha chanting them everyday... Srini and I also collected her first ever portrait pictures from the studio today. Overall it was a great day for us...
